Gower Building is owned and run by Ed Gower and specialises in residential homes, renovations and additions.

Growing up Ed was destined to be a builder. Ed's Dad, Allen, was an Engineer and Project manager in Industrial Construction, and more than just a handy man. On weekends Ed would follow him around as if attached by a leg rope while Allen would perform all sorts of projects around the home. Ed was always observing, passing tools and picking up nails. The apprenticeship began early. Weekdays after school, when his Dad was at work, were spent on smaller jobs making cricket bats, ladders, tables, benches, skate ramps and of course, billy-karts.

When Ed finished school he progressed straight into an apprenticeship, starting in 2004 with a high-end Builder based on Sydney's North Shore. He worked on a range of projects of varying styles, sizes and budgets, and mixed his onsite experience with night time study. It wasn't long until Ed progressed from qualified carpenter to site foreman, then onto a licensed builder.

Ed has over 17 years of experience in residential construction in a wide range of residential projects.
